FOR SALE: Porsche 914 w/ Honda F20C conversion

Goal was to retain original styling and feel with GT performance. Car is civilized but not for daily driving.  Car has never been tracked. Working on videos. More Pictures on request. 

Dangerously fast from 6500 to 9000 rpm (240hp @ 8300 rpm, 8900 rpm red line) - Power delivery is like an original GT. Reminds me of a 2.2S I had in the 80's, but faster. Must drive to appreciate. Addicting!

Body

Non undercoated Southern California car. Rust free except for an overlay in the hell hole.  Longitudinal, floors and all body panels are original - no replacement panels. Painted Wimbledon White (originally red). Reinforced rear inner suspension tabs. Fire wall engine Mount added. Original engine mounts still in place. Hood and trunk are steel. GT style engine lid. The doors are gutted but included is complete set with regulators and glass from a '74 (currently working on refurbishing them - new paint and seals)

Electrical

Rewired with an 8 circuit fused kit by Painless Performance. Additional circuits can be added. Keyless push button start, GT style master battery positive cutoff and a redundant battery ground cutoff. Original harness has been removed.

Brake lights, Parking lights, Driving lights, Head lights (requires manual cycling of motors to raise them), Rear Turn signals (by toggle switch). Single Speed Wipers.

Gauges - rpm, water temp, oil pressure light, Fuel level, Battery Voltage, Alternator light

Stock engine harness and ECU

Powertrain:

50k mile F20C from a 2001 S2000. Stock harness and ECU with OBD2 connector. 

Firewall engine mount with custom cradle

Kenedy Engineering flywheel with Stock 914 clutch and pressure plate.

901 side shift with shortened 3rd and 4th, Stock 5th, new Synchro's.  Stock shifter and linkage.

Stock F20c exhaust header with a Dual chamber muffler, 2.5 inch tubing. No CAT.

Firewall engine access door (lexan and steel covers)

Stainless fuel lines in the tunnel

Honda Air Filter box

Suspension & Brakes:

87 Carrera Front Suspension and brakes (25 mm rotors front and rear), Stock pads. No parking brake.

New brake 19mm master cylinder, SS brake lines. 

Bilstein sport dampers, Rear Ground control sleeves w/ 150 lb/in Eibach Racing Springs. Front torsion bars are stock Carrera.

Rear poly trailing arm bushings, Front is stock rubber. (Poly bushings included)

Stock front sway bar 15 mm

Rear fenders slightly pulled

Genuine 15x7 Fuchs w/ Nitto NT05 205/50-15, metal valve stems, oem center caps

Rear hubs drilled to 5 lug (early 70-72 embossed version), Verbus Studs

986 spare & jack

Front Tow bar and receiver. Can be removed.
